  • Children who are 15 years old or younger must be with an adult (18+) at all times during your visit.
  • Some zones or exhibits may be closed temporarily for animal care or maintenance, and this can happen without prior notice.
  • The aquarium is fully wheelchair accessible. Carers or essential companions with a valid National Companion Card can enter for free.
  • Assistance animals are welcome inside SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast, as long as you bring valid certification.

Behind-the-scenes tour

  • This experience is for guests aged 3 years and older.
  • All children must be accompanied by an adult who is also joining the tour.
  • Only 8 spaces are available each day, so it’s best to book early to secure your spot.
  • Most areas of the tour are wheelchair accessible, but please note: viewing from the top of the Oceanarium is not accessible for guests in wheelchairs.

Seal Swim

  • You must be at least 13 years old to join the Seal Swim experience.
  • Spaces are very limited each day, so advance booking is essential.
  • This activity is not suitable for guests who use wheelchairs. You will need to be able to get in and out of the seal pool (with help if needed) and be confident swimming.
  • You cannot join the Seal Swim if you are pregnant or if you have any type of seafood allergy.
  • All jewellery must be removed before entering the pool. If your jewellery cannot be removed, you won’t be able to participate.

Shark Dive Xtreme

  • You must be at least 14 years old to dive. If you are under 18, you must dive together with an adult who is also participating.
  • This experience is not wheelchair accessible. You need to be able to get in and out of the water on your own (with help from staff if needed) and speak clearly with staff during training and the dive.
  • You must be a competent swimmer and able to carry up to 40kg of scuba diving equipment.
  • For safety reasons, guests with certain medical conditions (such as asthma, heart disease, epilepsy, diabetes, ear or chest conditions, high blood pressure, pregnancy, recent injuries or surgeries, and some psychological conditions) may need to provide medical clearance from a qualified dive doctor before booking.
  • You must not drink alcohol the night before your dive.
  • You must not fly in an aircraft within 12 hours after diving.
  • Places are very limited and often sell out, so we recommend booking as early as possible.
  • These tickets can't be cancelled or rescheduled.
